Marrows and Halloween

Perhaps not the greatest thing to teach your kids how to make but we have had so many marrows from our lovely next door neighbour that we were bound to make something alcoholic eventually! So here goes..marrow rum!


We've had so many marrows from our lovely next door neighbour we've had them stuffed, roasted, in juice, soup, chilli, curry! The children have made them into  babies dressing them in baby clothes and pushing them in prams! They make a great alternative to Halloween pumpkins and Jasmine even made one into a Guy for bonfire night!

 

 


We had a fab Halloween making some great food for our Halloween feast like celery zombies and decorated buns!
